Cumbria Housing Partnership (The Data Controller) is the only local procurement group for social housing landlords in Cumbria. We help member landlords save time and money by buying materials and contractors for repair and maintenance work on their homes.

By working together and using our combined buying power, we make savings for our members that can be reinvested to improve the lives and futures of people living in our communities.

We take the security of your personal information seriously and will process information you give us in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation. This privacy policy relates only to Cumbria Housing Partnership’s (CHP) website, links to other websites are not covered.

CHP does not capture or store any personal information about individuals or companies who access this website, except where you voluntarily choose to give us your details via e-mail, or by using an electronic form, or by enquiring about any of our services.

CHP does not use ‘cookies’ (small data files that certain websites write to your hard drive when you visit) for collecting information from the site and will not collect any information about you except that required for system administration of the web server.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict & object to processing of your data at any time; we will act on your request to ‘access’ within 30 days and without undue delay for other requests.

Making a complaint

If you have a complaint about the use of your personal information please let us know, giving us the opportunity to put things right as quickly as possible.   If you wish to make a complaint, you may do so in person, by telephone, in writing and by email to the Director of Cumbria Housing Partners.

Following your complaint, you will be provided with details of our Data Protection Complaints Procedure.  We will act on your complaint within 30 days. You can contact the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) at, or 0303 123 1113, directly with your complaint.  Please be assured that all complaints received will be fully investigated and dealt with.
